TEQ is an automotive electronics manufacturer. The company makes many different kinds of units like Multiplexes, ECUs, Digital Instrument Clusters, Combined Charging Systems (CCS) for Electric Vehicles, and Gas Leakage Detection systems.
The company also offers satellite solutions for logistics and public transport companies. The system, which we supplied cover glass to, is used by the major Italian bus manufacturers and transport companies.
The cover glass we supplied was for a 12.3” wide display TFT Project.
TEQ was looking for a solution that protects the active area from dust, scratches, and sunlight reflections.
In close collaboration with TEQ, we found the optimal solution for their specific application through testing and multiple prototypes.
The final iteration is a transparent Solaris™ acrylic filter with Fine Hard Mat™ surface treatment to improve the readability and scratch resistance of the cover glass.
