New ISO requirements challenge the process approach and risk-based thinking in companies.PSC A/S is ahead.
From ISO 9001:2008 to ISO 9001:2015
In its continued pursuit of high quality, PSC A/S is now certified according to the latest ISO requirements. The company has thus passed from ISO 9001:2008 to ISO 9001:2015.
The most comprehensive changes are that there are 10 clauses in the latest version instead of the previous 8, the last 7 of which have been changed relative to the previous version. The amended clauses relate to the PDCA cycle (Plan, Do, Check, Act), which is part of boosting the continuous and systematic process improvement in the company.
The biggest change in the new 2015 version ISO standard focuses on risk-based thinking.
Quality Manager Jonas Glerup outlines: "The risk-based approach is essential for PSC A / S, as it shows where and how we should act to sustain growth in current and new markets through a continued high quality level."
Management systems in focus
Another major point in the new standard is the term "High Level Structure" that will help to bind the company's strategic vision more closely with the daily quality work, as well as to ensure that all employees have a clear awareness of responsibility and powers. With these principles incorporated in ISO 9001, it has also been made easier for companies to integrate other management systems, which are already based on these principles.
With the new ISO certification, PSC A/S is well equipped in the quality development within the company.
