Our Combi Shield™ is an EMI shielding solution that can be combined with almost any type of front display.
It is specially designed for touchscreen applications that need EMI shielding and for retrofitting an EMC solution into an existing display or monitor.
Combi Shield™ is a darkened mesh that is stretched and mounted on a thin, rigid, conductive, and corrosion-resistant metal (aluminum) frame. The direct metal overlap and contact ensure that the application benefits from maximum shielding.
The shielding is very thin and only takes up 1-1.5 mm space, and can therefore be integrated into an existing application that needs EMI shielding without changing anything else. The metal frame’s geometry can also be optimized for each specific application.
Combi Shield™ can be applied independently on the chosen front window solution. This means that are no restrictions when combining high-performance surface treatments with Combi Shield™. Both can be optimized for the specific application.
Furthermore, due to the excellent shielding performance, Combi Shield™ is an ideal choice for applications where maximum shielding efficiency is required (i.e. TEMPEST and MIL requirements).
