We have developed a range of highly effective PMMA-based anti-reflection coated solutions.
These eliminate reflections, ensuring maximum light transmission and readability, fulfilling even the most demanding requirements.
Display readability is essential in some applications, such as medical equipment and navigation computers.
These displays must be easy to read from all angles and under all possible light conditions. The usability of such devices is therefore optimized with our anti-reflective coatings.
Anti-reflective coatings are made by applying very thin layers of metal and mineral oxides on top of each other in a so-called vacuum deposition process.
Want to know more about anti-reflective surface treatment? Then we’ve written an article just for you that also discusses the differences between anti-glare and anti-reflection. You can read it by clicking right here.
By carefully designing these layers, the light reaching the surface will not be reflected but transmitted through the material. This results in a dramatic improvement in clarity and light transmission and almost completely eliminates unwanted reflections. This results in the best reproduction of the original colors.
Combined with Anti-Fingerprint (AFP) top coating, our AR coating is among the best in the industry.
The coating also offers exceptional abrasion- and wear resistance and makes it easy to clean and remove any dirt or smudge when used in harsh conditions.

Our 2AR 1AFP solution is one of the most versatile solutions available in this product category.
2AR 1AFP has an AR coating that provides you with the best reproduction of the original colors while having excellent anti-reflective properties.
Lastly, the top layer of this surface treatment is an anti-fingerprint coating with virtually no optical distortions.
These properties result in a solution with great abrasion- and wear resistance, and make it easy to clean and remove any dirt or smudge from the surface.
We specifically designed an AR coating for marine applications to ensure lifetime durability in offshore environments.
The Marine AR coating reduces light reflections to an absolute minimum and has exceptional UV- and saltwater resistance.
We typically recommend this solution for radars, fish finders, and navigation and communication systems exposed to saltwater and sunlight.
Our Wet AR anti-reflective coating is a cost-effective alternative to the vacuum-deposited anti-reflection solution.
Wet AR has precise color reproduction and is easy to clean.
Furthermore, it has excellent chemical and wear- and abrasion resistance. It is a great choice for many applications, such as large window applications. This could be information displays or displays in public environments where it is regularly cleaned with harsh chemicals.
